Thumb Wrestling Federation

Thumbs up for one of the cleverest, funniest, and most infectious properties to hit TV in years.

From the largest independent production company in North America, Animation Collective, TWF is a hysterical live-action series of shorts (bouts, bios and special segments) that give a personality to one of the most well known play patterns in existence - thumb wrestling.

Achieving incredible ratings on the BBC, TWF is shown across BBC1, BBC2 and the CBBC channel and the broadcaster has picked up the rights to all four existing seasons with a fifth currently in production. The show is one of the most-watched kids shows in the UK and launched in 2009 as a hit toy range across all major UK retailers.
The show follows the exploits of two major forces in thumb wrestling as the evil Sinistras do battle against the Mighty Dexteras with heart- and fist-pounding action in each and every bout.
Announcers Dick Thomson and wrestling legend, Colonel Cossack, call all the action from ringside and you can learn more of the history of TWF here.

Each season features key wrestlers such as The Big Time and Senator Skull as well as introducing newcomers like Gary the Intern and, after a full wrestling season of exciting thumb-to-thumb action, the season culminates with the “best of the best” going at it as part of the single elimination, "Thumber Summer".
Episodes of the show can be downloaded from the official Thumb Wrestling Federation website and it's packed with information, games and entertainment to ensure fans of the show always have a way to get involved.
Thumb Wrestling Federation: TWF is set to be a major contender at UK retail throughout 2010 and you can find the full range of toys, publishing and posters here.
