Jane Kennedy

Currently VP of International Licensing at BKN New Media Ltd, Jane said yes to Stephen Gould’s invitation to be one of the first members of the Malta Swim team whilst still a member of the 4Kids Team. In all honesty is was in the vain hope that a rise or a big fat bonus would end up coming her way at the end of the years! However, now no longer with 4Kids and already paid up member, there is no way out and no big fat bonus!!
Brought up on the mean shores of the North Sea, Jane is no stranger to fresh water swims with the Tay estuary being the stomping grounds during her formative years. Jane started swimming at the tender age of 2 after falling head over heals in love with David Wilkie. Her therapist now belives this infatuation was more to do with the moustache and manly hairy chest rather that his acquatic capabilities, as the mantel was subsequently passed on to Thomas Magnum and the Hoff.
Since leaving 4Kids, early morning swims at The Oasis Centre have taken the place of the sadistic alfresco dips in Tooting Bec Lido and the Serpentine that Mr Gould coerced her into doing. SwiMP3'd up you can normally find her zigzagging up the fast lane belting out Take That. She recently swapped the cold waters of London for the turquoise shores of the Caribbean for some acclimatization training, Westin to Rum Point was her favourite route – swimming in a vat of rum, and avoiding the Sting Rays was great training, and although the rum glass is now empty and the tan has now faded Jane’s looking forward to her Maltese Adventure. Killer jelly fish and rough seas......bring it on!!
Jane lives in rural bliss at the Ovaltine Factory in Hertfordshire....she is currently single but is open to all serious offers. She loves animals (except cats) and wants World Peace
