Richard Flook
Born in the early ‘60’s (very early - 1/1/1960), Richard started swimming at an early age, completing his first width well before his age entered double figures.
After obtaining all ASA qualifications that were available in the early ‘70’s – his aquatic exploits were sidelined for several years due to the distractions of puberty, secondary & university education followed immediately by professional qualifications.
A brief “career break” early in the 21st century gave the opportunity to dust off his Speedos in an attempt to get fit. He enters this challenge with his eyes wide open, coupled with an optimistic attitude & the hope that his fellow participants are as focused as he is…
