Rob Corney - Managing Director, Bulldog Licensing
Rob Corney runs Bulldog Licensing, an agency which specialises in working with British creative talent to develop global brands, as well as bringing the best international brands into the UK for its domestic clients.
Beginning commercial life on the Carlton Television Graduate Management Training Scheme, Rob had the chance to experience every aspect of media life... and he still chose licensing. After nearly six years in the ITV group companies, Rob went on to work for 4kids Entertainment before setting up Bulldog in early 2007.
The Malta Swim marks the first return to Malta for a member of the Corney family since his father was stationed there before taking part in the landings on Italy and North Africa during the Second World War. Fred took a Mark II Destroyer and Rob will turn up with an extra-large beach towel... just in case.
Rob got married in July 2007 and hopes to avoid the Portuguese Man-o'-wars in order to return to his wife safely after losing up to two stone on the Swimfast diet.
