The visual and often non-verbal comedy that drives the character has ensured there have been no language barriers to a success that has brought Mr Bean high awareness and enormous popularity in close to 200 countries and a staggering online presence that has attracted 19 billion lifetime views on YouTube and placed it at the number one spot among TV and film brands on Facebook.

After nearly 35 years, the brand needs little introduction, boasting fans of all ages. Since 1990 the show has gone from a pilot and 14 live-action episodes to a globally renowned brand with over 30 years of continuous distribution and winning many international awards. By 1995 it had inspired the first of two movies, both of which made well over $200 million at the box office.

The first animated series launched in 2002, building up to the latest run which will see series 4 launch in 2025 on CiTV where the show consistently ranks as the broadcaster’s highest rating programme for both kids and adults.
