Popular football trading cards experiencing phenomenal sales and ratings
With the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament due to kick off in June, it’s set to be a big year for football, and Topps’ best selling Match Attax trading cards are already experiencing hugely successful sales, outselling competitor brands by far and bringing it to the coveted number one position in trading cards in the UK.
Match Attax has also reached the top spot in sports brands, bought about by a combination of the enormous success of the trading cards from Topps, and the licensed merchandise programme, managed in the UK by leading European agency, Bulldog Licensing.
Adding to these accomplishments, the property has taken the number one position in the growing children’s football brands sector, thanks to its army of over one million fans in the territory. And as if that wasn’t enough, Match Attax has been named the biggest non-partisan football brand in the UK.
Bulldog is building on the property’s huge popularity by growing a focused consumer products programme for Match Attax in the UK, to extend the brand experience for the many fans. Already on board are Fashion UK, Misirli, Centum Books, Coneen and a range of others across bags, stationery and nightwear and daywear.
